I am really please to see the first of the Statues of Liberty to head out the door to there new owners apartment. All three are hand signed and numbered 1/50 and will remain together…which is cool. These three are based on three panels of my ‘Art History’ painting. Yellow is Pop Art, the Red is Russian Pop art and the Green is the last panel of the painting and represents…well i guess t represents me.
I am currently hanging the current collection of works on paper at John Allans in NYC. It will be the first time (in such a short time of their existence) that all the current works on paper will be shown together. I will keep everyone informed as to when the big party will be…I hope to see you all there.
Here is some additional information on my Editions on Arches Paper
Thank you everyone please feel free to share.
‘Rose’ Hand Painted Edition of 50
Acrylic on Arches Paper 22 x 30
Rose 22 x 30 hand painted on Arches Paper on display at New York Vintners (21 Warren Street, NY NY 10007)
Rose edition of 120 (10 Dozen!) 12 x 16 (14 x 17 with matting) hand painted on Arches Paper
Hello Everyone,
I hope your 2012 is off to a great start…I decided to start mine by turning my ‘Rose’ painting into two editions of hand painted works on paper. The larger Roses I will paint, number and sign 50 and the smaller ones I will paint, number and sign 120 (I thought ten dozen small roses seemed more elegant then 100) The Rose image goes back to early 2000 – 2001 and is one of my favorite drawings…My Grandmothers name is Rose. In 2008-2009 while in the UK I turned the drawing into the ‘Rose’ painting which now happily resides in Florida. With Valentines day right around the corner I thought the smaller ones would make for the perfect gift.
- Large Rose works on paper are $475 without a frame (an extra $125 for a stunning frame from The World Trade Art Gallery)
- Small Rose works on paper are $125 with matting and an archival clear sleeve..ready for framing.
Valentines day gifts…Why I am a big fan….
It is a little known fact that the very first ‘Monopoly’ print was a commission for a collector to give to his then girlfriend (they are married with two children now!) in the year 2000. At the time I believe the print was $150. Just recently a ‘Monopoly’ print sold in the after market for $3100! So you can see why I am a big fan, if not for that Valentines day gift so long ago my life would be different today…so I am grateful.
I hope everyone has a great Valentines day and as always ….
I encourage you to come down to the studio (21 Warren street in Tribeca, NYC) and look at some art, jewelry and sculpture while also enjoying some wine just let me know, it will be great to see you.
Cheers,

The Ritz Carlton’s 2011 Holiday ‘VIP’ Card commission by Jason Oliva
December 19, 2011
Hello Everyone,
It was very exciting to be asked by The Ritz Carlton to create a holiday card for their VIP list. They were also kind enough to let me do whatever I wanted and myself and The Ritz are over the moon with the results. My head spins thinking about who the people are opening the ‘Lion’ card this holiday season. I want to thank all the people at The Ritz-Carlton organisation all along the eastern sea board that made this possible and also allowed my extended biography to be included on the back.
All that being said if you would like to join my mailing list and receive one of these gems (with out the Ritz Carlton greeting inside – of course) Just add your address to my contact form (I will not share any info)
Contact Jason
…and if you are a Ritz-Carlton VIP who received a card and stumbled upon this post please feel free to reach out to me it would be great to hear from you.
Thanks to everyone for your support through out the year and Happy Holidays!
Cheers
